CERTIFICATES AND TESTS

EN10204 3.1 Certification

All our products are supplied with 3.1 certification. This is a certificate issued by the manufacturer which declares the tubing is in compliance with the applicable specifications and provides chemical and physical properties as well as traceability.

EN10204 3.2 Certification

3.2 Certification is an additional requirement that can be offered. This requires all the information for 3.1 certification, but all the results must be witnessed and verified by a third-party inspector, such as Bureau Veritas (BV), Lloyd’s Register (LR), and Det Norske Verita (DNV).

NACE MR0175 / NACE MR0103

NACE standards certify the tubing meets certain requirements that reduce susceptibility to certain types of corrosion. Most annealed tubes are supplied with this certification and it is typically stated on the 3.1 or 3.2 certificate.

Corrosion Testing

To meet end user specifications, some materials go through a variety of corrosion tests, such as ASTM A262 Practice A, A262 Practice E, G48 Method A, G48 Method C, and others. These tests are either performed by the manufacturer or by a third-party laboratory and the results are included the with 3.1 or 3.2 certificate.
