MECHANICAL TUBES

Mechanical tubing, also known as hollow bar, is heavy wall tubing that is generally used as a starting piece of machining applications. Instead of having to machine out of solid bar, a starting piece with a preexisting hollow bore allows machinists to reduce time and cost. Mechanical tubes are generally available in 316/316L and 304/304L.
